About the Client
Established in 2010, VKIDS, or “Vintage Kids” serves children from ages 0-11 at Vintage Church Los Angeles. They meet every Sunday morning, and exist to help children grow and deepen a relationship with Jesus, through fun activities and meaningful friendships.



Challenges

The main challenge was to create a brand identity that is exciting for children & versatile enough to have many applications across various types of prints and platforms.
 Secondarily, the visual identity faces to extra challenge of being appealing young trendy parents in LosAngeles, while remaining identifiably related to Vintage Church’s adult branding.


Solutions
In addition to creating a logotype, we identified that the development of characters would be an effective solution for identifying various age groups involved, and be useful for wayfinding.
